(Caught a 16½" Brown in Borie and an 8¾" Palomino in a tributary of
Freeman Run) (Caught and
mounted a 26" Rainbow weighing just shy of 8 pounds in Borie) (This
Rainbow was entered in the Wharton General Store big tout contest which ran
from April 14 to July 8. It took first
place in both the length and weight categories.
Eleven people entered the competition for $5. I won the $55 collected. There was also a feature article in the
Wharton Gazette about me winning the contest)
